OAB Awards
SAVE your Station’s BEST for the OAB Awards program.
Winners are announced at the OAB Conference Awards Luncheon each year.
About Us
The Ontario Association of Broadcasters was established in 1950, originally as the Central Canada Broadcasters Association, to serve the common interests of privately owned radio and television station operators in the province. Membership is open to Radio and Television stations licensed in Ontario. Post-secondary schools, businesses and organizations with an interest in the broadcast industry are eligible for associate membership.
Annual General Meeting
The Ontario Association of Broadcasters Annual General Meeting is held in conjunction with the conference. Financial statements, actions of the Board and committees plans are reviewed.
Pro Radio
The OAB continues to remind everyone of the importance of Local RADIO. Local RADIO stations support communities with everything from airtime and fundraising for local charities, providing LOCAL News, promoting community events, providing important community announcements, to advertising for local businesses – all without fees for listeners!
