About Us
The Ontario Association of Broadcasters was established in 1950, originally as the Central Canada Broadcasters Association, to serve the common interests of privately owned radio and television station operators in the province. Membership is open to Radio and Television stations licensed in Ontario. Post-secondary schools, businesses and organizations with an interest in the broadcast industry are eligible for associate membership.
Career Day
Career Day 2022 – Tuesday, February 8th! This virtual event featured panels on different areas of broadcasting and panels included a student ambassador! THANK YOU to all the industry professionals who volunteered their time for this worthwhile event.

Annual General Meeting
The Ontario Association of Broadcasters Annual General Meeting is held in May. Financial statements, actions of the Board and committees plans are reviewed.

Stations across Ontario are running the latest Pro Radio campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to promote the medium and remind listeners of the value of Radio.
