The Ontario Association of Broadcasters invites all Ontario MEMBER stations to enter their best station and staff work to be considered for one of four OAB Awards.
Each year, the OAB invites broadcasting students from across Ontario to participate in Career Day. This event provides students with the opportunity to speak candidly with experienced broadcasters about their chosen career path.
The Ontario Association of Broadcasters was established in 1950, originally as the Central Canada Broadcasters Association, to serve the common interests of privately owned radio and television station operators in the province. Membership is open to Radio and Television stations licensed in Ontario. Post-secondary schools, businesses and organizations with an interest in the broadcast industry are eligible for associate membership.
